TIAN YI 601 Engineering Barge Upgraded

Recently, TIAN YI 601 engineering barge successfully completed upgrades to its core equipment, integrated system commissioning and operational testing. The upgraded equipment is performing well, further enhancing the barge's offshore construction capabilities.

This upgrade focused on large-diameter offshore pipeline installation and operations in complex waters. The pipe-laying tensioner was upgraded from 20t to 75t, with the maximum applicable pipe diameter expanded from 30″ to 60″. The anchoring and positioning system was also upgraded, with the supporting anchors increased from 20t to 35t, further improving the barge's positioning capability and operational reliability in complex waters.

In response to complex subsea geological conditions and tight construction schedules, the TIAN YI 601 also completed an upgrade to the hydraulic power system of the SE-18000 trenching machine. It can operate at water depths of up to 70m, with a maximum single-pass trenching depth of 3m, and is suitable for pre/post-trenching of 6″ to 60″ pipelines. This upgrade further improved its operational reliability and support capability.

This technical upgrade further improved the operational capability of the TIAN YI 601, enhancing its adaptability, reliability, and operational coverage, while also strengthening project delivery capability and market competitiveness.
