Yuedong Oilfield Submarine Cable Replacement & Repairing Service Project (Year 2022—Tincy Energy Group)

Project Description:

Yuedong Oil submarine cable A was damaged at the channel of Erjiegou which inspected by submarine cable fault detector equipment, and the cable need to be repaired emergently. TIMEAST re-laid this section of submarine cable for the first time with directional drilling crossing technique. The crossing cable sleeve specification of is  DN280 × 31.3PE100, the cable is 35kV composite submarine cable 3X240+12C, and the reconstruction section is about 530m in total. The directional drilling Angle of the pipeline into the earth is set as 10°, and the excavation Angle is set as 9°. The curvature radius of the crossing casing is 1500D (D is the outer diameter of the pipeline), and the directional drilling depth at the channel is 15m below the water surface and 10m below the seabed.
