Boxi and Gaoshaling Treatment Plant Pipeline Landing Project was Successfully Completed

Boxi and Gaoshaling treatment plant pipeline recovery project was successfully completed.

Tianjin Lingang Industrial Investment Holding Co., Ltd is constructing the first phase of 100,000 ton channel project and the first phase of breakwater project in gaoshaling port area which intersect with the submarine pipeline of treatment plant about 600m and 150m respectively. In order to cooperate with Tianjin Binhai New District government's unified planning and the economic construction needs of the local government, it has been decided CNOOC Tianjin Branch would remove and recycle the two cross sections of the submarine pipeline.

The work scope: abandoned 8" mixed transportation pipeline and 12" natural gas submarine pipeline of Boxi treatment plant, dismantled and recycled 600m section through the channel section of Gaoshaling port area, both ends in-situ sealing, pipeline ends sealing treatment; abandoned 8" mixed transportation pipeline and 12" natural gas submarine pipeline of Boxi treatment plant, dismantled and recycled 150m section through the breakwater, both ends in-situ sealing, pipeline ends sealing treatment.

With the strong support of the owner CNOOC Tianjin Branch and Bohai Petroleum Navigation Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., the last 150m section pipeline of Gaoshaling port breakwater was cut and recovered at 17:00pm on Nov. 15th and was abandoned to the original seabed.
